I Would like to express my gratitude to ITECHGurus (Mr. Prasath) for providing repeated training sessions until I was ready to appear for the PMP Exam.

I attended a training program conducted by Mr. RK (R.Karthikeyan). He instilled confidence and provided guidance for the exam. Following his instructions from the last day of class, successfully passing it.

Here are the instructions I followed:

Refer to specific pages in the PMBOK 6th & 7th Editions and the Agile Practice Guide instead of reading all the pages:
1. Start with the training recordings.
2. PMBOK 6th Edition: Pages 733-734 (PDF), Glossary, Acronyms, and 28 pages of definitions (Pages 735-763).
3. Agile Practice Guide: Page 160 (Acronyms) and 6 pages of definitions.
4. PMBOK 7th Edition: Pages 329-370 (PDF) – 1 page of Acronyms and 19 pages of definitions.
5. PMBOK 6th Edition: Page 62 (PDF) – Single page: Project management process group and knowledge area mapping, and an overview of all processes.
6. Write down approximately 20 formulas on paper.
7. One day before the exam, do not study & refer the notes. I went to a movie and spent time with family.

By following these instructions, you can surely crack the exam. Additionally, taking the LMS Mock exam will help build your confidence. Once again, thanks to RK and ITech Guru!

Addition to this RK used to respond all your WhatsApp messages Thanks RK !!! :)

Hi Sir, I have Completed my PMP.

Few things to share …..

1.

Attempt ITechgurus training and practice test; Do not worry even if you score less.

Read each answer key comments and its corresponding justification provided for both correct and incorrect answers. This will help you how to approach the similar questions by applying the same logic

2.

Attempt each chapter test after completion of each chapter reading. Don’t worry for the complete reading of book

3.

When you attempt the test first time, you might realize that your reading was not enough to attempt the test. Then you can re-read or read in depth of few concepts and adjust your preparation accordingly

4.

Keep 49 processes (flow chart) print in bigger size as visible(A1/A2) and store it in wall for quick refresher

5.

Start your reading/preparation in parallel to your training or soon after your training. The more you delay, more difficult to plan and study

6.

Reading PIMBOK and Agile along with ITech training content itself is enough instead of multiple books. Reading one book in depth is needed than reading multiple books/authors

7.

Don’t try to attempt answers from your real life experience as it may not work all the time. Stick to  PMBOK/Agile concepts

8.

You wont get any question beyond PMBOK but at the same time you will not be able to answer the question if you had read it in depth/understood the concepts

9.

If you are appearing at the Pearson venue, keep multiple Government ID proofs (Aadhar/PAN/Voters ID). The staff would verify both identity and signature (any debit/credit card with your name and signature) additionally if signature is not clear on ID proof.

Thank you iTechgurus for all the support.

Thank you iTechGurus for making me realise my dream of clearing the coveted PMP certification with AT in all sections. Special appreciation to Dr. Chandramouli whose vast experience of dawning numerous hats lends you to practical examples and makes you think as a Diligent Project Manager. Special thanks to Prashant who constantly primes your confidence and ensures that you are in the right direction. The material, videos and practice questions/tests helps you to build a strong foundation. Once that is established then you are sculpting yourself as a sponge to absorb the numerous content available online and in your daily experiences. I would strongly suggest the following:

1. Ensure to be thorough in the iTechGurus content and videos before moving forward to assigning PMP exam dates.
2. Try to avoid missing out a day without preparation during your quest.
3. Remaining calm in the mock exams as well as the final exam is very important. I have performed miserably in the mock test when I lost my nerve 2 weeks before the final exam.
4. 3-4 months is a realistic and achievable timeline as long as consistency of preparation is maintained.
5. 3-4 days before the exam do not take any mock test and focus on preparation and concept recollection.
6. Most importantly enjoy your preparation and it is not the end of the world on failure. You can take the exam once again and would be better equipped to clear.
7. There will be days when you would question is all this worth it, it is truly worth and you will eventually realize that.

Without taking further time, I would like to wish the future PMP aspirants of iTechGurus all the very best and thanks to iTechGurus for doing such an exceptional teaching job. Once again thanks Dr. Chandramouli and Prashant.
